After downloading Google Earth, open the digital Charlottesville-Albemarle
Regional Mobility Map by clicking
here.
Using Google Earth, you can:
- Turn layers on and off to only look at what you are interested
in at the moment (i.e. Multi-Use Trails, Bike Routes, specific
CTS bus routes) -- in the 'Places' tab on the left of
the page, click the '+' in the box on the left of
'Charlottesville-Albemarle Mobility Map 2008' and
then un-check and check different layers at your pleasure.
- You can zoom to the level of different layers -- double-click
the folder on the left of a layer name.
- You can 'fly to' different specific locations or addresses,
map out directions from one location to another, and find
businesses -- use the 'Search' tab on the upper left corner
of the page.

You can also view UVA's 'Smart Transportation Map'

Thank you for traveling by alternative means!
