ACCT FACTS:
How does transit benefit even those of us who don't use it? Every person who takes the bus isn't in a car adding to traffic on the roads. Also, many of the people we rely on (such as our nurses or teachers) depend on transit to get to work.

Everyone is a pedestrian at some point, even if it is just as they walk from their parking space to work.

According to Bicycle Universe, if you took the money you'd save by getting rid of your car and invested it you could have $2.3 million by the time you retired.
